Model United Nations (MUN) is one of the extra-curricular clubs offered by AISL. Students role-play UN delegates and simulate UN committee meetings. This gives students the chance to develop knowledge and opinions about issues facing the UN today. Each student has the opportunity to present resolutions on global issues and to lobby and debate those issues in committees. In the last two years, the AISL MUN club has attended GHAMUN, an MUN conference held at the Lincoln School in Accra, Ghana and GIMUN, a university level MUN conference held at the University of Ghana in Accra.
The American International School of Lomé (AISL), established in 1967, is a private, non-profit, college preparatory day school offering an educational program to students of all nationalities from Nursery (age 2) through Grade 12. The School is fully accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools through Grade 12.
